Broken Fence

This field is adjacent to the new crematorium not far from where I live and almost ready for its first customers. I walked Pepper across some fields this morning just to see how things are coming along - it looks as if it's being well landscaped.

One thing that mystifies us is the substantial newly completed footpath that leads from the bus stop on the main road down to the new crem. I can't imagine who will be using this. Our regular bus service is one per hour from either Aylesbury or Leighton Buzzard. If you were coming from further afield you would have considerable difficultly in using public transport....so why the superior footpath? I wonder who thought that was a good idea.

Pepper is now with my daughter in Woking while we go away. Our flight isn't until Friday but with me out all day tomorrow and John away walking until Wednesday I 'booked' her in for a couple of extra days. I hope she behaves herself.
