He is heartbroken today, because his best friends in the world are moving away. I feel for him; my friends moved away before, I have moved away from my friends. It sucks. This is his first, and I have no heart to tell him there will likely be many more.

I am trying very hard to avoid the news today. I know that most of the victims of yesterday's shooting were exactly Little Man's age, and their names have been released.
