Little helper.

Have been back into the work routine after a week off.
Doesn’t feel normal though.
The awful events from Friday are just so sad and everyone here in Christchurch is feeling it.
I have found out that at least two of my work clients knew close friends killed and my 14 year old nephew lost a good school mate.
So hard to understand.
I admire the way our Prime Minister is dealing with things, she said that all of our energy will go towards the victims and their families and we will not give the accused shooter any thing, we will not even mention his name , he is nothing to us.

Trauma is an awful thing to go through.
Some people luckily never experience it. Unfortunately the people of Christchurch have felt it too much over the past 8 years.
When the devastating Earthquake hit us we thought that was the worst we’d go through. For some it still is. But then last summer we had huge wild fires here that claimed homes and the life of a firefighter. That was a huge thing.
Why did the shooter choose Christchurch on Friday?
Apart from the obvious sadness and grief a lot of people have been put back into that highly anxious and worrying feeling all over again.

It is a hard time for everyone.

Normal life had to go on though, and after work I went and got the groceries, with my little helper Lottie.
