Pointing the finger

My car went in to the dealers for its annual service today which involved a trip to Cleckheaton. 

I turned down the offer of a courtesy car and walked into town as I had managed to find an office from where I could work for day.

I passed this 80+ year old "fingerpost" sign at the bottom of Hightown Road. In 2016, the uncared for rusty relic was restored by the local Civic Society in 2016.
