Grand Canal from Accademia bridge

I know this is a frequently photographed view but it makes me smile and instantly transports me back. 
We've been to Venice several times before but never at this time of year. Highly recommend it as it was quiet enough to enjoy the city and we were extremely lucky with the weather. Spent most of the day wandering around, dropping in to the odd bar for a refreshment, people watching, a bit of shopping and a memorable dinner (for all the right reasons).
