Leo Christopher

Today was my godson's confirmation. And my second time attending a mass in less than 24 hours. Possibly a record. 
He sang really well. He took his pledge not to drink alcohol until at least the age of 18. The bishop seemed suitably impressed. 
Then there was a big family dinner in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel. And the food was plentiful and very nice. The kids ran, and ate, and laughed, and drank coca-cola, and ran some more, and ate some cake, and drank more coca-cola, and laughed some more. 
The adults chatted and maybe drank a bit too much. 
Mimi got to play on a baby grand piano, and managed to get some sweets from a sweeties cart for a wedding in a nearby room. The girls kept tabs on shoes and hairdos. The lads drank too much and would not be able to tell today what either of them was wearing. 
Then we went back to Uncle Martin's for a house party, complete with acoustic set and laser lights disco. Mimi lapped it all. I am afraid she may be a disco-head...
