Green fingers twitching.....

An indulgent day off today and a visit to RHS Harlow Carr as they were having a free open day to showcase their gardens.  A nightmare of a journey as Harrogate seems to have a fortress of roadworks in every direction....but a few laps of the town later, arrival at the gardens was a release of endorphins.  It's a while since I've been and their spring displays, new beds, planting schemes and general gardening goodness were soul lifting and green finger triggering.  I really must renew my RHS membership....or whisper heavy hints into the right ears - and I really must get my gardening gloves out :)
