Things are looking up......

.....because the boy-in-the-attic gave the kitchen computer a 1 minute emergency overhaul/repair yesterday afternoon, he ducked under the kitchen table and nonchalantly pulled out a few component parts and cables, blew on them, put them all back and announced that the memory chip had popped out of place, probably because of the cold weather (y'know, can't imagine why, but I had an immediate feeling of kinship with that memory chip......). Possibly IT gobblydegook/shite, but I don't care because it's working again!!

Today I shall mainly be attempting to convert the front room into a close representation of Santa's Grotto, it may take some time..........
