Coopers Lime Kilns

There are two of these kilns in Mindarie, they were uncovered when the land was being developed for housing, operating in 1932 by the Coper Brothers, who played a big part of the workforce during the depression of the early 1930's they provided much needed jobs for new migrants, both kilns are in excellent condition, the lime was transported to the the gold fields back in the day.
Nice to have a bit of history in our suburb.
