Finally!
In Cairns and junior's dad at the airport to meet us and there was great joy, kisses and hugs.
S is a great little traveler and loves airports and planes, special (kids) meals, charming the 'trolley dollies' (their term, NOT mine!) and is probably the only person on the entire plane that watches the safety demonstration with great interest AND studies the safety manual equally enthusiastically, while demonstrating his version of the BRACE position.

I caught this moment as he had put away the much treasured DS and spent several minutes gazing out the window as the storms and the brown/red lands and sands of the Northern Territory drifted three kilometres below.
