They are back!

I was so relieved to find the pair of swans that were AWOL are back on the Leg of Mutton Pond today. This is the "The Bully" and his wife from the Heron Pond on their way down to check them out. This is the first year that he has not climbed into the Leg of Mutton and flushed out any swans daring to be  there. He is an old swan, and I think he realises he may not win now!
Life has been somewhat hectic of late hence my total lack of commenting. It is a bit of a struggle just to get a photo up each day. Thank you for visiting my journal and commenting - much appreciated. x
