Garden Life

I had planned a relaxing day today with a lunch out with Mum and maybe a run (in the car!) somewhere this afternoon. After a visit from the builders this morning it ended up a trip to Edinburgh to choose floor tiles to replace a botch job in the conservatory. Unfortunately the tiles we had originally chosen are now obsolete...the new ones are a bit less rustic but hopefully will look okay. It looks like next week the room will be turned upside down for the third time as they attempt to lay tiles over underfloor heating without damaging anything...they are using a different tiler this time!!

Whilst doing some ironing (a rare phenomenon in itself) I spotted a butterfly in the garden so dashed out with the camera....guess who’d put the 16mm lens on last night in anticipation of Wide Wednesday!!! Luckily I could get in close and also spotted a couple of ladybirds, my first this year. Not sure what the shrub is but it’s beautifully scented.

Taking Mum home tomorrow so an early night tonight!
