Wide Wednesday - Derelict

There is no shortage of subjects matching today's wide Wednesday theme in my area. After much consideration, I choose this derelict sailboat that has been sitting used in the bay since our arrival nine years ago. It is amazing it is still afloat, testament to the staying power of fiberglass, but it is slowly being broken down by the corrosive sea air. Two months ago the mast was still in place, now it sits on the deck providing a perch for a curious pelican.
