Happy Spring!

My favourite time of the year...along with summer, fall, and even, winter  ; )

Seriously though, is it not the time of year that gives you a spring to your step?  Nothing like feeling that warm sun, hearing the birds singing at the crack of dawn, hearing the woods coming alive, seeing the blossoms on the trees.....I could go on and on.

I went looking for antlers today as the ice is melting. This little Red Squirrel was stalking me through the woods. I was following deer tracks through the thicker brush (where antlers are more likely to get snagged and fall off when loose) and this little one stayed one step behind me, looking so hopeful for as peanut or two.

Of course I did...I am a softee.
