Inoculating oak logs with shiitake mushroom spawn. The world of fungus is fascinating and we have so much to learn from it! These wooden dowels are covered in mycelium and when hammered into oak logs will take over the log with the fungus. 

Delicious mushroom will be here in 6-12 months. Patience is key!
