Abstract Thursday: the eye in the wall

Inge's challenge for Abstract Thursday this week is to look for patterns where you don't expect to see them.  

I've given the challenge a slight twist.  From a distance this is part of a much larger piece of street art, painted on a wall in central Bristol.  All you see is a large cartoon character, the bricks in the wall have disappeared completely, the casual viewer would not even notice them.  To bring out the hidden brickwork I have take a  close up of just one of the figure's eyes - effectively cropping the image to enhance the abstract feel.
