Mute Swan.......

A liitle sunshine helps to brighten the day in so many more ways than the obvious.

Of course as blipsters we all appreciate even the smallest amount of bright day light, so getting bright sunshine is like wining the lottery.

A rare visit to the Ivy Lakes complex here in Chichester, we only managed to spot 1 Greater Crested Grebe during our visit, and as usual he was way off in the distance. Coots on the other hand, well there were hundreds of them, quite a few Tufted ducks and Swans dotted about the diferent lakes, and only a small number of Moor Hens.

There was only a light breeze when we arrived at the complex, so standing behind trees or bushes the sun felt quite warm on our faces, don't suppose we topped up the vitamin d to any great extent, but it was nice to be out and about in the sunshine.

By three o clock the sun had long gone, the clear blue sky replaced by thick black / grey clouds and lashings of rain.........

Back to the hotel, bottle of wine, change back into our comfy clothes and chill out before gong out for dinner this evening.
