Amo-Te Miguel

Well, the news today is that Mike started seeing shooting stars around the edge of his right eye last night, so today we started the process of finding out who to see about it. End of story, eventually, is that he's got the beginning of a detached retina and is scheduled for laser surgery tomorrow at the hospital in Évora, to glue it back together...

Took this photo while wandering around the clinic in Reguengos, but only saw now that it has an appropriate message: "Love you, Mike"!

Just got home (after 8pm), off to do Bible study in a few minutes...

Gratefuls:
- finding the right doctor, and his skill
- that I can drive
- the medical system here - we'll pay, but it's not astronomical

By the way, had problems uploading my Blip yesterday, ended up deleting, so lost some comments, and you may not have seen it. In case you wanted to - it's two mugs of tea - wouldn't have minded them today!
