I popped along to the waterfront in Edinburgh in search of a "blip opportunity."

Nice morning, spot of wind and a spot of morning haze.

Everyone seems to be pleasant to someone with a tripod (in fact, if you're looking for ways to make new friends then dump your perfectly good compact camera and festoon yourself with what looks like pro-camera gear!)

It's renewed my faith in human kind.
