Cruise Elegant Night

This is the night we dress up for dinner on the cruise. Obviously months of planning have gone into this night by most of the females, and maybe 15 minutes on the guys part.

My wife is looking rather cute in this photo. She'll kill me later about being in a Blip, but it's worth it. She's lost about half her body weight in the last 8 months and I'm very proud of her. Technically, she's only 50% of the woman I married, but hey.

I had a choice of this shot (that I didn't take) or one of Clark, (our friends little boy) at the table. I think the Clark shot will go to a competition though, rather like the image.

But tonight it's my wife that gets the Blip.

Cruise Elegant Night is the night where everyone dresses up, and the staff do police it - hence some old guy being sent back to his cabin, much to his disgust.

Today we popped into visit Freeport, Bahamas. Odd place. Had a choice of the shopping mall type sheds at the port, or the shopping type mall at the end of the $5 taxi ride. We're on a budget, otherwise we'd grab a taxi and get a proper tour of the island. Next time though....

I now own a rather touristy Bahamas shirt. If I'm going to be a tourist, then I'm going to look like a tourist. It's just a massive pity that all this stuff is made in China.
