Majbous

Majbous is the local Kuwaiti dish - gently spiced and eaten with all the goodies you also see in the picture. We ate at Freej which is the local restaurant that is so popular for this dish. While I've eaten it before, Isl showed me how to mix the chillies into the rice for flavour and moisture. And how to roll the herbs into the bread to make it easier to eat with the chicken. Fed like only how an Egyptian can feed someone - almost literally! They prepare the mouthfuls of food and hand it to you to eat. 

A nice relaxing evening before work tomorrow. Lots of thunderstorms tonight and rain too. Unusual for Kuwait, extra unusual for this time of year.
