Scarf

A scarf, a symbol today to be worn to stand with our Muslim sisters, scared to be different, scared to go out.

I had a long standing booking with a tradesman working at home. My scarf sat on the kitchen island, a symbol reminding me how easy my life is. I don't look look different and I'm of the dominant culture.

Yesterday's work by my chiropractor is slowly settling. I'm pleased about that.

Today's gratitude: For this poem. Sorry, you'll need to copy amd paste it into your browser.

A few lines from it:
"I pledge my honeycomb tongue
to the five stages of peace

Anger
Resilience
Open palms
History
and New Beginnings".

Wonderful stuff.
Peace
