Waterside reflections

LB has arrived for the weekend and as he has only ever visited the centre of Chester before, I thought it was about time to take him for a long country drive... destination Shrewsbury.

I've got him here all weekend before he continues on down south to London for a meeting on Monday morning; a very real reminder at how close Christmas actually is as I've had to get everything ready for him to take away to open on Christmas morning.

Country drives, long walks in the cold winter air, mulled wine and then an evening viewing of The Hobbit - very much enjoying being back at home.
