Ben- rescued from puppy farm
I met Ben this afternoon in our local garden centre where his new owner, Mione Morrison, rescued him from a puppy farm. He was a stud dog and about to be destroyed because he was said to be too old.
Now he enjoys a new life as a therapy pet with Glendrick Animal Rescue and Welfare Centre, a charity run by Mione near Fintry.
He regularly goes into homes for the elderly, and works with people who have communication problems.
Ben was among a group of animals, including several donkeys, there to demonstrate the work of the charity.
