I've just realized my original blip for today was a virtual duplicate of one I took at the start of the year, though in much more interesting light.

So here instead is the notoriously difficult to photograph Salem in patriotic repose. I really should get him to give himself a quick going over with a damp paw before doing close ups, he always manages to have bits of fluff and dust on him
