Derwent Dam

We are ‘ooop north’ for a wedding so left home early and stopped en route for a walk round Ladybower reservoir. Which was a pleasant stroll punctuated by a coffee and Bakewell slice at the visitor centre.
Then off over The Snake pass to Glossop and onward to our bed for the night between Denshaw and Oldham.
Nice little hotel but no draught beers, just Doom Bar and Old Speckled Hen in bottles- they are a long way from home for sure.
