Oh my!

This isn’t the sort of thing I’d usually make public as I’m really quite introvert. But seeing as this is a journal here goes...

Last night I managed to win my camera club’s “Beginners” Digitally Projected Image competition for the year. After and atrocious start last September, yesterday I got 10s for the final 2 images I entered and thus won the thing by half a point... and I’m really quite pleased!

I guess I’m going to have to get into printing a bit more next “year” and seeing as I’ve just bought all the gear for mount cutting etc. so there’s no reason not to. But I guess they’ll stick me in the cut throat “Advanced” section now...
