Rules

This is a bit of a cheat blip, taken by my son on my behalf. It’s the entrance to Rules in Covent Garden, London’s oldest restaurant. It was founded in 1786, in a grand Edwardian building, and is a favourite of ours. We celebrated my son’s 21st there, and for many years it was the regular meeting place of the Fleet Street Motoring Group, inviting senior motor industry guests to a working lunch for us to quiz them. When I’m back in full recovery mode, I plan to celebrate with lunch there!
