No Fog on the Tyne

Headed up to Newcastle from mums this morning with Beth for Church, then lunch out on the Quayside then collected all a girl needs for 2 weeks and headed home.

The gathering continues, they should all be home now, but one is now in Budapest and the other in Nottingham. All under the same roof some place, sometime,soon but always under the same sky.

Excited for SPOTY tonight, I'll settle for any of them to be honest, my own favourites, I think in order - Wiggo, David Weir, then I can't choose between Queen Jess of Yorkshire and FlyMo(just looked at the list again and I might change my mind).
for non Birts SPOTY is Sports Personality of the Year, traditionally we don't win stuff on the world scene,so we have this competition that non of you can win, it goes to heroic loosing semi finalists, horses, royalty, aging soccer players past their prime, and the occasional winner on the world stage, this year we can't stop winning and the agony of choosing is causing a deepening of the country's collective neurosis
