2019 Friday — Our Grand Kids

Our granddaughter Desiree posted lots of photos of her kids today, so I gratefully swiped several of them to create this collage.

Baby Emillia born on February 3rd is changing so quickly. We haven’t been with them since she was a week old.

Jade is a “daddy’s girl“ and loves snuggling with him. He got off work early today, so they went to Sea World for several hours and then home to snuggle.

Desiree’s Facebook photo of Tristan and Jade and the caption were tremendous and speak volumes about what a wonderful big brother he is.

Here at home we are dealing with the reality that one of our dogs, Max, is going blind. Max spent the afternoon at the vet’s office and the vet met with us about 5:00 p.m. to explain that Max needs to go see a canine eye specialist. The vet thinks Max either has glaucoma or cataracts or both and is most likely seeing shadows of images, but not at all seeing clearly. Max is not sure where he is walking and bumps into things, but we are watching him learn to follow our voices and to make adjustments. This situation is devastating and heartbreaking.
