Fog with Smoke

Fog this morning, which cleared quickly (this image is from 8:17). Clouds followed, which cleared to greet our guests for afternoon coffee: blipper MI and her husband J (see the extra).  She is here on a second research sabbatical following one in 2012 (she's blipped just the two six-month stays--I've followed both.  It was terrific to finally meet them, and we had a lovely visit.
