Extinguished

There were more important things going on in the world today, but this is where I spent my afternoon.

The occasional glimmers of hope for City's season have been more or less extinguished. Not mathematically, but no-one in the stadium today would be able to see how this team could pull itself off the bottom of the table and make up a seven point gap in the seven remaining games.

At least the Blackpool fans were happy in the corner. Happy to get their club back and happy at a convincing away win. Even the City stewards were wearing their colours.

It finished 1-4, with City claiming a last minute consolation.

Earlier I'd had a pleasant walk in the sunshine across the moor to Sconce and back. A pair of Stonechats and a few Red Kite were the highlights.
