a pink reminder with - this christmas cactus blooming now - rising forth from an act of trauma - to an object of utter beauty - that surviving is merely tenacity - the will we all have within us - to stand firm against forces which - could destroy us if we'd let them - however if we so choose - we can rise out of the impending doom - to find a fabulous inner loveliness - we never knew existed - one that gives hope - which is exactly what this cactus - plant has done for me - in addition, of course to making it...
