Supper
Despite th3 continuing nose drip,and sneezing I set to after breakfast to prepare food for Katy and Colin coming for their last supper before leaving for 6 weeks in NZ. Katy’s daughter lives there and is getting married in Wanaka, by the lake if the weather is clement. They are coming back for a celebration in December, which will be in Dunblane where Rose grew up, I must get a B and B booked.
I made broccoli and Stilton soup with added fridge slurry. The blip is the fish pie - salmon, smoked haddock, egg, spinach, carrot topped with potato. Pudding was clementines with a topping of Greek yogurt with grated white chocolate and Cointreau.
Maybe it is the wine, or the Twinkle cocktail, but I feel heaps better!
