Broken wing

We visited our old friend Mr. Holden today in Baltimore. He suffered a fall about a month ago. Today he seemed a bit down in the dumps. It has been a long lonesome hall on him. This rehab is so far away from everyone and a very hard trip on the old folks he is related to. He will be going to another rehab in VA on Tuesday. It is about 5 hours from us. We plan to visit him but it will not be as often I'm sure. I sure hope his progress improves as he did not mention his late summer plans or anything positive today.
I told him I was going to make him famous today on blip, I think I saw a small smile.
