Had been feeding at the squirrel feeder, left open by Dusty, when disturbed by yours truly. Just managed to catch him though!
Update on the squirrels, since the cold spell when no reds visited the garden, only Dusty has been seen. I'm on the look-out for Ginger but to date nothing. I hope he has survived the injury!
