Shinjuku

I was joined by SparseRunner - we met near Shinjuku station and went to explore the Meji Shrine and the surrounding park as well as the Shinjuku Gyoen. The main photo shows a wall of sacred sake barrels! 
The cherry trees are blossoming and we can witness the full extent of the obsession for cherry blossom. Th Gyoen also has lovely Japanese gardens and greenhouses [see extra]
