St Edward the Confessor RC

Not many churches can boast an approach Avenue of "Giant Redwoods" But at Sutton Green this church was built on the "Sutton Place" estate. The house at "Sutton Place" was built in 16th century and Henry VIII is supposed to have stayed here on occasions, it being relatively close to Hampton Court, and he also had a palace at Old Woking.
