First face paint

Recently Lyra had pink eyebrows for about ten days after painting her entire face with lipstick.

Granny (who knows everything, genuinely) suggested that perhaps the girls might be ready for face paint.

It seems she was right. Lyra was pleased as punch with her fairy princess look and stayed remarkably still and quiet during its creation (I wondered if perhaps she'd died and had to poke her once or twice just to reassure myself).

She has refused to wash it off this evening and is hugely disappointed to learn that it is not a permanent transformation.
