Well You Just Have To....

We had a great day out in Cleethorpes today. It’s about a 90 minute drive from our house. We met our daughter, husband and two granddaughters for coffee, then parked up along the front and walked towards the pier on the sand. Eldest granddaughter had a great time. The tide was out so no paddling today!

We stopped for a fish and chip lunch - eating in the open air always makes them taste better. Then we bought a bucket and spade and some flags and went to work on a sandcastle- well it would be rude not to.

Even the youngest was having fun (extra)..

Walking back to the car we stopped for some fresh doughnuts...lovely they were too. Then back to the coffee shop for a last chat.
