2am in the kitchen disco

Someone in this photograph turned 56 today...

As might be expected after our very late Saturday night/early Sunday morning of dancing (blipped), we had a slower than usual start to the day. That said, it wasn't long before Mr hazelh and I were firing on all cyclinders, tidying up the flat and preparing for another day of fun.

This afternoon Liz and Tony made an unexpected visit just as Mr hazelh, Gunilla, Jon and I were about to make a start on the delicious birthday cake that Mr hazelh baked this morning. When they left we introduced Gunilla to Catan. She very quickly made sense of the rules and managed to win her very first game.  

Then we headed out the door to the Village to catch Chil play their second set of their Sunday gig. We danced with Mike and Susie, but Katharine seemed a little too tired to join in... Meanwhile Jack strutted his stuff on stage.

It's been a super fun weekend and a lovely birthday. Normal sensible service will be resumed tomorrow :-(
