Back to Guernsey

We visited Lihou island today. It’s a tiny place only accessible via a causeway at low tide and only for a couple of hours at a time. It has been the site of some historical excavations and a priory has been uncovered. Now there is a house which is available to hire. Schools use it for short trips away too. This is the very from the top of the causeway looking back to a German fortification on Guernsey.
