Blackthorn

Such a gorgeous day today, though I had to run some errands rather than enjoy the weather and, as is the way with these things, it took much longer than intended.

However, I got home and went for a walk across the fields. The Blackthorn is in full bloom in the more exposed areas, but the leaves are coming through where it's more sheltered. The Alexanders are in plentiful supply. I know you can eat every part of them but am just not sure what you do with it!

Watched the last episode of Baptiste. I really enjoyed it, and some of it was filmed down here. The last few scenes were filmed on Kingsdown beach, just along the road, where there is a great pub right on the beach!
