Christchurch City from the hills
A different experiment this morning. My iphone has an HDR setting that I have used before, and noticed an improvement over the straight shot. I took a few images of Christchurch City from the top of the Britten Reserve, on Mt Pleasant, but this was the one I liked the best, with the rocks in the foreground. Post earthquake there was some vandalism in the name of improving safety, in which boulders thought to pose a risk were broken apart. It is now challenging to avoid including these piles of rubble in images from this spot.
The railway line can be seen running from the tunnel, through Heathcote Valley into the City.
