1612. Midnight macro....

I have to admit that I never sleep that well and tonight is no exception....I'm tired but sleep eludes me!
My youngest step daughter and her husband visited on Sunday bearing a rather nice Mother's Day gift...a new LED light for me!  She also brought with her the 30mm macro lens I have exchanged for my flash...so we're both very happy with that...I have been trying it out with my new light and I'm slowly getting to grips with the menu system in a non-Panasonic camera.  I have so far managed to set it in manual, change the f stop and shutter speed and the exposure compensation without once having to delve into a menu system...quite a change from my Panasonic cameras...and I have to say I'm quite impressed with this little Olympus Pen-1.  It's an old camera but working well so I now have a perfect little dedicated macro camera.....I'm extremely pleased with the shots I'm starting to get....
