Burning the Pope

In Krakow, understandably, the last Pope is celebrated. Before heading to Rome, he was the big cheese round here. They've named their airport after him and portraits and souvenirs abound.

All that said, I'm really not sure about this one we spotted on the Christmas Market. Imagine what he'd look like a couple of hours in. He also looks like he's been garrotted. What a way to be remembered .
