The Edge of the Wold

Ripples and rocks

Sunset at New Barns Bay. It was a cool and windy evening, and muddy underfoot from this week's high tides. As I took this photo, Gus's pal Rowan was trying to attract my attention by dropping a stick at my feet. Gus was further away with Sue and Wifie who sensibly were avoiding the gloopy shore.

We had a busy morning, doing things that needed doing. Sorting out and planting seeds, harvesting the purple sprouting broccoli glut, cleaning the bird feeders etc. Anything rather than sit down - which is proving most uncomfortable at the moment, frustrating as I want to get our new raspberry canes planted.

A male blackcap was in the garden in the morning, probably a wintering bird as it's still early for the Spring arriving breeding birds.

Back blipped on Monday 25th March 2019.
