Abbotsford House

Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott, and our home from home for a long weekend.

Today was sunny but extremely blustery so we ventured for a walk around the grounds.   It was cold down by the River Tweed, but once back up at the house we found a sheltered spot in the walled garden to sit and take in the view.   This is the kitchen garden "room" of the three walled gardens.
