Grisedale

A mixed day of walking, writing, reading and history. Discovered a whole new hidden valley deep in the Dales, while staying in a house which was once home to a certain John Haygarth, a pioneer in the prevention of the spread of communicable disease - as well as the person who first properly identified the placebo effect. A man truly ahead of his time.

The glasses never turned up but the camera seems to be merely dented!
