Walking the labyrinth

I once heard that labyrinths are a way of going on pilgrimage without leaving home.

I got 2/3 round this one and was struck with a weariness about how very loooong it seemed.

Before that, there was a special moment when I walked side by side one of my parishioners, we were on different paths but for a few moments we were together going in the same direction. I matched her speed and steps and ..... connected.

I had to travel quite far to pick up this labyrinth from a dear friend, which was another journey in itself.
